  We just had a front door with sidelights installed by Illinois Energy and we are very pleased! Our old door was drafty and we have already noticed a difference in the temperature around our entryway. The quality of the door is very nice and has really improved the look of our home from the outside and inside. Everyone we worked with or spoke to at Illinois Energy was very polite, friendly, and professional. They took the time to answer our questions and didn't try to pressure us into buying a product we didn't want or need. The installers were great, got the job done on time and made sure we were happy before they left. We will definitely be using Illinois Energy when we are ready for new windows and/or siding!

  I purchased windows from Illinois Energy Windows for my home a couple years ago. The upstairs is 2-4 degrees cooler with the a/c on during the summer. The house has also been warmer in the winter. There are no longer any drafts in my house. Our energy bill has dropped nearly 40% lower after replacing the windows. Hands down the BEST energy saving purchase I've made for my house!

  A young man came to our door the other day about windows and siding. We are actually looking to replace ALL windows and ALP doors on our home! That’s where my excitement ended. This door knocker knew nothing about the products. However, he said could set us up with a knowledgeable sales person to get us a quote. Awesome! No, not awesome. See the thing is, they want both myself and my wife to be home. Unfortunately that wouldn’t work due to my wife’s crazy schedule. I gave him a time that worked best for me and told him to clear it with his boss and they could have the meeting. This guy came back 3 times within 15 min. He said he had cleared it with his boss and the sales/quote guy would see me at the time we agreed upon. Now fast forward to quote day. I received a call early confirming the time. The guy on the phone reiterated that my wife and I were to be home. I explained the above story. He again had the same things to say about both of us being home. I again told him it was cleared already. He stayed the course. Here’s where I had to stop the ridiculousness and cancel their appointment. If the process of getting a quote is this difficult, I want nothing to do with the impending nightmare to come. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

  I received a call from them the other day. When I told them I wasn’t interested the guy kept going on and on. I stopped him and recanted the story above. He then grew angry and tried to chastise me for leaving a bad review. Saying things like I was trying to ruin their business. To which I replied; No your policy, unwillingness to be flexible, lack of training, poor communication, and attitude is what is ruining your business.
